NWS Nashville went ahead and issued a Heat Advisory valid until 7p Tuesday. Heat index values up to 108° will be possible daily.
High temperatures will get very close to 100° each day, halfway decent shot of actually making it there on Monday and Tuesday. Dewpoints near 70° will make it feel that much worse.

Heat illness can occur quickly with a brutal temp + dewpoint combo like this. If you must be outdoors for long periods of time, take frequent breaks, stay hydrated, and watch out for signs of heat illness.
We do get some relief starting Thursday, when temps cool back down towards average for this time of year. It’ll still be relatively hot tho.
You’ve heard this plenty of times this summer – but it’s just that time of the year.
Low chances for a daily shower or storm in the afternoon/evening continue thru really the entire week. It’s Wattery style, so no way of knowing exactly when and where.
Good news is that any shower or storm would help cool things off, and we aren’t expecting any severe weather. Just the usual – any storm could contain heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. If you have any outdoor plans, keep an eye on the radar – when thunder roars, go indoors.
