A passing shower or storm can’t totally be ruled out today and Friday during the afternoon and evening. However, chances will be fairly low, only around 20-30%. Most of us should (knock on wood) stay dry.
Rain chances get all the way down to near zero from Saturday thru Monday.

The lower rain chances will be thanks to a high pressure system that parks itself over the region.
Unfortunately, this will also turn the heat up several notches.
We yet again will find high temps soaring into the mid to upper 90s. Dewpoints will be in the upper 60s/low 70s, causing the heat index value (“feels like temp”) to end up in the 100-105° range. Not fun. Those with outdoor plans this weekend/early next week should plan to take breaks indoors and stay hydrated.
Several of the global models think we hit 100° during early next week – we’ll see about that, I’m not convinced. Regardless, it’ll be hot.
