Decreasing Rain Chances, Increasing Temps

BNA has seen 2.25″ of rain so far today – as of 5p. Not everyone has seen that much, but some is better than none.

Additional showers and storms can’t be ruled out thru the rest of the evening. We’ll be watching and posting any updates to all of our socials.

Thursday will be our last day with halfway decent rain chances for a while.

Rain/storm chances peak at around 40% during the afternoon and evening. Not worried about severe weather, but some isolated flooding can’t be ruled out – especially at places that saw a healthy amount today.

Wattery style again, so impossible to get any more specific other than afternoon and evening. Those with outdoor plans should stay connected, as any storm could contain heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds.

Rain chances decrease quite a bit starting Friday, and stay low thru the beginning of next week. Chances only ~10% during this time, so those with outdoor plans should feel pretty good about it. Most of us should stay dry, but can’t totally rule out a stray shower or storm during the PM hours.

Alongside our decreasing rain chances, our temperatures will take this opportunity to increase.

High temps turn up into the mid to upper 90s starting this weekend and continue thru at least early next week.

Heat index values will peak near 105° during the afternoon these days. Those with outdoor plans this weekend should also plan for some time in the shade and A/C during the day, as heat illness can occur quickly with temps like this.
