I’ll take today’s weather for early August every single day. It felt amazing.
Although similar temperatures will stick around for the next couple of days, it probably won’t be as dry.
Medium rain chances (40-60%) return on Sunday and stick around thru Wednesday.
Chances will peak each day during the afternoon and evening. Thankfully, no severe concerns – but a thunderstorm with heavy rain, lightning and maybe some gusty winds won’t be out of the question.
I’ll let the HRRR model give an idea of what the radar could look like on Sunday – although it won’t play out exactly like this.
It thinks the majority of activity stays just off to our east – we’ll see about that.

Besides the rain potential, our below-average high temps paired with comfortable dewpoints will hang around for most of this week – before 90s return late week.
