Congrats on Making It Thru The (Tied) Hottest July Ever

Well, we just tied 1954 for the hottest July on record. So, congrats on making it thru that.

We get rewarded with some below average temperatures for a little.

Official high today was 83° with dewpoints in the mid 60s. A noticeable difference.

More of the same – temperature wise – can be expected thru Tuesday. We heat back up again after that.

Models continue to think we get away with a dry Saturday. That along with these nicer temps/dewps – chef’s kiss.

Rain/storm chances rise up to the 40-60% range Sunday thru Wednesday. Wattery style, so random popups mostly confined to the afternoon and evening hours. Not everyone will see rain.

Thankfully, no severe weather concerns with any of this. The usual summertime storm hazards possible – heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds.

We’ll be keeping an eye on it, but until then – enjoy the lovely Saturday.
