We will continue to try and dodge rain and storms for the foreseeable future. Medium Wattery chances are in the forecast daily thru at least the end of next week.

Unlikely you see rain every day; most will probably stay dry. HRRR model thinks everyone stays dry today (Saturday), with better chances at a storm on Sunday.
Chances will peak from midday thru early evening. Impossible to get more specific than that due to the random, scattered nature of the showers and storms.
Still not expecting any organized severe weather, but you know by now…any storm could contain heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds.

High temps stay fairly consistent over the next 7 days, in the mid 90s. Heat index values near 100° during the afternoon.
With temperatures that high, your vehicle comes an oven. Please, remember to look before you lock – never leave kids or pets in a locked car.

For those going to Florida to beat the heat, just a heads up. The National Hurricane Center has highlighted an area in the Gulf – where there is currently a 20% chance of a Tropical Storm forming. Something to keep an eye on if vacationing, but nothing of concern right now.
