Wattery winners were few and far between today – which should also be a common theme on Friday. Showers and storm will again be fairly isolated, but again – can’t promise everyone stays dry.
Rain and storm chances increase just in time for the weekend…up to ~50-60%. Not everyone will see a shower or storm, it’ll certainly be worth keeping an eye on the radar if you have any outdoor plans on Saturday or Sunday. Chances will be greatest during the afternoon and evening.
Thankfully, we still aren’t expecting severe weather – but as you know, any storm could drop heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. We’ll still especially be watching any slow-moving storm for the potential for isolated flooding.
We’ll be sending out updates on our socials as needed. Good rule of thumb to follow is when thunder roars – go indoors.
Rain/storm chances decrease a tad after this weekend.
Temperatures continue to do July things – hot. Heat index values peak near 100° during the afternoon if you manage to avoid a shower or storm.

Looking out into the 8 – 14 day range, temperatures likely to be somewhat near-average, with precip slightly favored for above-average.
