Unsettled Pattern Making Itself At Home

Wattery winnings stayed away from us today, but not sure that will hold for very long.

Daily rain/storm chances will be in the forecast from Friday until at least Wednesday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day, most likely in the afternoon and evening timeframe.

We call it the Wattery for many reasons, water, lottery, Watts from the lightning possible, “Wat” is all this rain, etc. Whatever you want to call it, there is no way of knowing exactly when and where these storms may be. The most likely outcome is you see rain several days over the next 6 days, but you could see it only one or two days, or majority of days – just the joys of the Wattery.

Chances are at ~60% for Friday, ~80-90% for Saturday and Sunday, ~50-60% onward.

For those with outdoor plans, and those at Bonnaroo I would highly recommend keeping an eye on the radar (and our socials). Lightning plays no games, when thunder roars – go indoors.

The severe threat will be very low during this time, but these summertime storms can quickly pulse up and be strong, briefly severe.

Generally speaking, rainfall totals over the next 72 hours will be around one inch, more or less.

Along with our high temps in the mid to upper 80s, flirting with 90° – our dewpoints will also be on the rise. They’ll be hanging in the low 70s throughout the weekend and into early next week. Not an ideal combo. If at The Farm, or outdoors in general, try and find some time in the shade with some water.
