Wildfire smoke from Canada has made its way down south and will hang around for at least a couple of days. While the general population won’t be affected, those with respiratory issues may want to limit time outdoors. It will make for some cool looking sunsets/sunrises.
Besides the haze, Saturday will be warm and dry. A well-deserved nice Saturday.
Sunday we’ll have the chance of some afternoon/evening scattered showers/storms. Thankfully, no severe weather is expected, but a stronger storm or two could contain some gusty winds and pea-sized hail. Any thunderstorm could contain heavy rain and lightning.
The Euro and HRRR are sorta in agreement with how things play out, but the HRRR is several hours slower than the Euro. Leaning towards the Euro’s timing, so I’ll show it.

Our longer-than-normal streak of sub 90s will come to an end early next week when we will likely hit 90° at least once, maybe a few times. Dry Monday thru probably Wednesday.

That’s certainly not great news for CMA-goers. Hopefully this changes.
