Morning round of storms has mostly stayed off to the north – and probably will stay that way. I could see us being dry thru this afternoon, or later. Although can’t totally rule out an isolated storm.
If we do see any storms this morning, this would not lessen our severe chances for later today.
It will be important to stay connected and weather aware today.

We have the following probabilities of ‘x’ within 25 miles:
- 30 – 45% of damaging straight-line winds (some gusts could be 74+ mph)
- 15% chance of severe hail (1″+)
- 10% chance of a tornado (one or two could be strong, EF2+)
This is a low probability of a high impact event.
This Afternoon:
While still not currently expected, we will be watching the potential for supercells to pop up out ahead of the main line of storms. If these were to form, they would be capable of all hazards, including strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging straight-line winds. We’ll be watching closely.
This Evening/Tonight:
The main line of storms is expected to arrive sometime between 8p and 1a Saturday, most likely between 9p and 11p. This line is expected to move down I-24, and all modes of severe weather will be possible – with damaging straight-line winds being the main threat.
HRRR model gives a guess at how things could play out, although the radar likely won’t look exactly like this.

Please stay connected for updates today. We’ll be sending out updates on all of our socials as needed and will go live on our YouTube channel if a warning is issued for either portion of our two counties.

Saturday looks great, dry + warm.
Low to medium rain/non-severe storm chances will be with us Sunday thru Wednesday. Exact timing iffy for each day, this will be resolved in the following days.
While we are not currently outlooked for any severe weather, we are right on the doorstep of probs on Tuesday. We’ll see how this progresses.

Temperatures stay seasonal-ish.
