Warm Week, Highest Rain Chances Thursday thru Friday Night

Rest of today and majority of Wednesday should be dry. I wouldn’t be totally shocked if a few of us saw a quick shower Wednesday afternoon/evening – but think majority of folks should stay dry.

Rain chances will pick up a good bit starting Thursday. Most of us will likely see at least some rain thru Saturday.

Highest rain chances will be Thursday morning thru Friday night. It won’t rain the entire time tho.

I’ll let the latest GFS model loop from Thursday morning thru Saturday morning.

While the radar won’t look exactly like this – it does a decent job at showing the whole “scattered on/off rain but won’t rain the whole time” deal.

This particular run of the GFS thinks Saturday (including the long-distance running and any proms) will be rain free. The latest Euro model also mostly agrees with this, but other models think we have rain to deal with. This is something that will become clearer as we get closer.

Although a few rumbles of thunder will be possible, especially Friday afternoon/evening, no severe weather is expected during any of this.

Rainfall totals will vary from town to town due to the scattered nature, but roughly 1 – 1.5″ can be expected thru the end of the weekend.

Temperatures stay very consistent thru Sunday, with highs in the upper 70s/low 80s everyday.
