Cold Weather Advisory until 9a Wednesday for Temps Near 0°

Another night of very cold temperatures.

The official low for Nashville is , but many locations outside of Nashville will likely see temperatures closer to 0°.

Thankfully, winds will be fairly calm, so wind chill values will be very close to the actual air temperature. Regardless, it’s still going to be downright cold.

Another night to protect yourself, your pets and your pipes from the dangerous cold. Always a good idea to check in on neighbors/family who may not have adequate heating.

Bundle up for any dog walks, commute to school/work in the morning. Wear multiple layers, as frostbite can set in quickly with temps this low.


We may or may not get above freezing tomorrow – it’ll be very close. The official high for Nashville is 33°, but the Metro area is usually a couple degrees warmer than outside areas.

If not Wednesday, we’ll certainly get above freezing Thursday – as highs push up closer to 40°.


Rain chances won’t return until Sunday – and yes, it looks like all rain right now. Rainfall totals around 0.5″.


If you miss the snow, you could always take a trip to the beach. A historic snowstorm underway down along most of the Gulf coast.
