Dry With a Hint of Fall This Weekend

Both of our counties remain in Abnormally Dry to Moderate Drought conditions – and things aren’t expected to improve much anytime soon with us being stuck in a dryyyyy pattern.

The GFS and Euro ensembles continue to suggest maybe 0.3 – 0.4″ of rain in the next 10 days. That ain’t gonna cut it.

In fact, our only rain chances in the next 7 days will be Friday, and it’s just low chances of a couple of afternoon & evening showers. NBD, no reason to cancel any outdoor plans, although an umbrella or rain jacket won’t hurt.

Then Saturday and Sunday we get our lil’ taste of fall with high temps around 80° and lows dipping all the way down into the 50s. Bonfire weather.

If you are still holding onto summer don’t worry because those upper 80s come right back by early next week.
