Today will be the day to get any yardwork done before the weekend.
Friday will be hot, but Saturday will take the cake.

With heat index values reaching into the 105° – 110°+ range, it will be downright brutal.
Whether going to the Speedway, Nissan Stadium, or any other outdoor activity – be sure to find time in the shade and/or A/C and drink plenty of water. Heat exhaustion is legit and will set in quickly.
Jeans and boots will be a very bold combo – you will probably have a puddle of sweat in your boots and be able to wring the sweat out of your jeans.
To try to save us from the heat, will be Wattery chances.
Rain chances will increase little by little daily, Friday thru Sunday.
Friday, I think most of us stay dry – very few, if any, of us will see a quick shower.
Saturday rain chances increase a bit – but chances are still fairly meh.

The HRRR only goes out to 1pm Saturday for now, but shows the first half of Saturday dry, with a line of showers moving towards our area. This is still ~50 hours out, but something to keep an eye on.
Sunday will hold our best rain chances as a surface boundary will move thru our neck of the woods. High-res models still aren’t in range quite yet. No severe weather expected as of right now.

We get another one-day-break from the heat on Monday before heating right back up.
Although the 4th is really too far out to speak about with any level of confidence – early signs point to a fairly “normal” forecast for us. Hot, humid, maybe a shower/storm. More details as we get closer.
