Today is the last day to get any outside yardwork done, at least in somewhat comfortable weather, for the foreseeable future.
Dewpoints in the 50s today, turn up into the mid 60s tomorrow, upper 60s by the weekend. Grosssssss.

These dewpoints combined with afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 90s, will cause heat index values to be around or even above 100°.
If you have to be outside this weekend, take it easy. Frequent water breaks in some A/C, or at least some shade, will be needed.
Rain chances finally creep back in starting Monday, hopefully bringing some relief from the heat. No severe chances.
On another note, there is an Air Quality Alert for both our counties for Thursday.

“The general public is not likely to be affected. Active children and adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.” -TDEC
