Still cannot get over last night. Although not the best show with the naked eye, the views thanks to cameras were absolutely spectacular. Seeing them has always been on my bucket list, but I for sure thought it would require some travel. Just amazing to be able to see them right here at home.
I’d say it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them here, but it’s possible we’d be able to see them again tonight!
Conditions similar to last night are expected yet again tonight. Still no guarantee, but I’d welcome them again with open arms.
For the best viewing experience, getting away from all the light pollution will be helpful.

Regardless, we are in the midst of a fantastic weekend.
A dry and mild rest of the weekend, great weather for any Mother’s Day plans.

Temperatures stay mild as we get into next week, however rain chances make a return to the forecast.
Monday and Tuesday look soggy. No severe weather in the forecast, but a strong storm with some gusty winds and small hail are possible. More specific deets on timing in the coming days. Only about an inch or so of rain expected Monday + Tuesday, so not expecting any additional flooding.
