Yesterday’s rain is gone. It went east.
Patchy fog/light mist is possible this morning and maybe early this afternoon.
Otherwise, high of 72°. Mostly cloudy. Sunshine may break through late this afternoon.
The high pressure is still sitting off to our east, meaning partly sunny weather and a high of 85°. It’ll be breezy with a southwest wind at 15-20 MPH (gusts may even reach 30 MPH). Low temperatures will reach down to 66°.
Overall, the chance for rain has been cut back just a little. However, there is still a chance for some showers and maybe even a thunderstorm.
Below, the HRRR model shows rain moving into the area around 1pm and then scattered showers for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
Today we can expect to see mostly sunny skies with a high of 83°.
There is the chance for a shower or two, though they are more likely to pop up in the late afternoon/early evening hours. The HRRR doesn’t show any showers here, but a front boundary (responsible for the potential shower or two) could drop close to the TN/KY state line. I would carry an umbrella just to be on the safe side. Tonight, lows drop to around 61°.

Tuesday looks similar with a high of 81°. We could see a few more clouds, but it should still be mostly sunny. Winds will still hang around 5-10 MPH.
Today is the last dry and (mostly) sunny day we will have until Sunday, so make sure to get outside and make the most of it! The high temperature will reach 81°. It may also be a little breezy with warm southerly winds at 10-15mph, though gusts could reach up to 20mph.
The line of rain and thunderstorms has officially pushed off to our east. The chance for showers and thunderstorms still linger; however, we are not concerned with any of them being severe. They are also not expected to bring a lot of rain either.
If you’ve been avoiding mowing the lawn, or haven’t been able to due to the rain and storms over the weekend, now is your chance to catch up on some yard work.
We can expect high temperatures to reach the lower 80s today and tomorrow, which is around 10° above average for this time of year. We will also see some sunshine, adding to the beautiful spring weather.

Currently, a low pressure system is beginning to work its way through Texas. This will enter our region, bringing rain and thunderstorms Monday.

HIGHEST RAIN CHANCES TONIGHT WILL BE AFTER MIDNIGHT WHEN REMNANTS OF THE TX/LA MCS MAY SPREAD NORTHEASTWARD. RAIN CHANCES WILL REMAIN HIGH MUCH OF MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT AS THE UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER TX MOVES EASTWARD ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES. SOME THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE MONDAY ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHERN COUNTIES BUT SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED AS INSTABILITIES SHOULD BE LOWER.
We’ve had Flash Flooding this morning. More rain, a bit lighter than what we saw this morning, is on the way this afternoon. It should end tonight. Thursday we will have have a short break from rain, with more rain approaching Thursday night and arriving Friday. Additional flooding possible Friday. Saturday will also be rainy, with potential for additional flooding and severe thunderstorms.
