NWS-Nashville has teams in the field again today. They are surveying damage, distinguishing straight line wind events from tornadoes, and rating tornadoes on the EF scale. They’ve counted 7 tornadoes in Middle Tennessee from Saturday morning. We think that number will probably be higher. Tornado surveys will probably not conclude until Tuesday. We will bring you that information as it comes in.
Storms moved out pretty quickly this morning. Any weather warnings and special statements have appropriately been retired. Mostly clear skies and rain-free for the rest of your day.
Don’t look now, but temps are temps are going to drop FAST throughout today into the overnight. Highs are likely what you’re feeling right now–just shy of 50 degrees or so. Fairly breezy for the rest of today, so wind chill comes into play. Lowest chills right around 20 degrees before sun-up tomorrow!! High for tomorrow squarely in the 40s. Bundle up (for now).
The story of the day is near-record highs in the mid 70s. We’ll stay dry and sunny for today. We’re in store for a pretty dramatic cool off tomorrow. Highs dip down into the mid 60s and stay that way for the weekend. The start of meteorological winter seems more like spring.
Slightly warmer today with highs right around 50 degrees. Lows tonight could get below freezing, especially if you factor in wind chill. Warmup tomorrow to the upper 50s (if not 60s). Back down to low 50s Thursday and freezing temps possible again in the overnight. A warm front that passed through this morning. Result: overcast and warmer. Highs today hover around 70. There’s a chance of a light sprinkler here and there, but the real rain comes late Wednesday night, probably Thursday.
Pretty normal for November today–highs around the mid 50s. No Tuesday morning freezing (mid 40s). We warm each day. We won’t freeze until after the next rain event.

Beautiful start to the week! Crazy to think just last week we saw temps ten degrees below normal. Now highs are right around ten degrees above normal. Temps cap out in the low 70s today, and it doesn’t look all that different through Wednesday. No need to talk about dewps or wind chill… expect comfortable temps and plenty of sunshine for the next couple days.
Well that was fast. Temps are way below average today and it’s going to stay that way for awhile. A whole ten degrees below average. Looking at highs in the mid 50s today, lows in the upper 30s by tomorrow morning. Wind chill is going to make it feel like near-freezing temps just in time for the morning commute tomorrow. Crank up the seat warmers!
