Rain Begins Thursday

Clear skies today with temps about 15° above average. Not much different tomorrow. Cloud cover tomorrow will keep temps much the same.

It’s going to get even warmer later this week.

Warm-up Starting Today; Rain Thursday

NWS-Nashville has teams in the field again today. They are surveying damage, distinguishing straight line wind events from tornadoes, and rating tornadoes on the EF scale. They’ve counted 7 tornadoes in Middle Tennessee from Saturday morning. We think that number will probably be higher. Tornado surveys will probably not conclude until Tuesday. We will bring you that information as it comes in. read more

Storms are Out… Now Bring On Cold(er) Temps

Storms moved out pretty quickly this morning. Any weather warnings and special statements have appropriately been retired. Mostly clear skies and rain-free for the rest of your day.

Don’t look now, but temps are temps are going to drop FAST throughout today into the overnight. Highs are likely what you’re feeling right now–just shy of 50 degrees or so. Fairly breezy for the rest of today, so wind chill comes into play. Lowest chills right around 20 degrees before sun-up tomorrow!! High for tomorrow squarely in the 40s. Clear Skies, but Chilly; Wet Turkey Day

Slightly warmer today with highs right around 50 degrees. Lows tonight could get below freezing, especially if you factor in wind chill. Warmup tomorrow to the upper 50s (if not 60s). Back down to low 50s Thursday and freezing temps possible again in the overnight. Pretty normal for November today–highs around the mid 50s. No Tuesday morning freezing (mid 40s). We warm each day. We won’t freeze until after the next rain event.
