Rain Returns Halloweekend, But When?

Another copy + paste beautiful upcoming work week.
Cool mornings, warming up nicely into the mid 70s each day. No rain.
We finally get a pattern change this upcoming weekend, at least in terms of rain chances. We certainly need the rain but would rather trick or treating not get rained out. It’ll be a close call.
Trying to nail down specific ETAs ~5 days out is just not possible, and anyone telling you it is – is lying.
However, we can look at the models and figure out a rough range of ETAs. It is also important to note that these could very well change, and this is the best guesstimate with the latest available data.
The earliest ETAs from models suggest rain arriving around Saturday afternoon. The later ETAs lean more towards Sunday lunch – a fairly wide range, which is to be expected this far out.
The current, most “likely” ETA seems to be sometime Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday morning. This, of course, will likely change throughout the week.
As much as I would like to guarantee dry candy getting, we are far from any guarantees. However, I will say, the positives are that models suggest instability (storm fuel) will be very low, if not zero – so in return, lightning chances (currently) appear to be very low.
We’ll keep y’all updated with the latest information throughout the week. Embrace the uncertainty.
It seems the beginning of November will (hopefully) continue a wetter trend as we try to make up on our rainfall deficit, with temperatures staying above average.
