Three More Hot Days Before A Fall Weekend
Tuesday, October 13, 2026 · Elan
Yesterday we smoked our daily record high by 3 degrees, reaching 91°.
Today, Wednesday and Thursday will have a chance at making four consecutive days of breaking the daily record high.
The daily record highs are 88°, 89°, and 89° – respectively. The forecast calls for 90°+ all 3 days.
Our weather will completely flip a switch starting Friday after a cold front moves thru, bringing in some legit fall weather.
I can think of endless adjectives to describe this weekend’s weather, but I’ll settle on fantastic for now and save the rest for later.
Highs in the 60s/70s, waking up with nice and cool mornings in the 40s. That is some mid-October weather.
Our only rain chances over the next week will be Wednesday afternoon/evening as a cold front off to our NW may be able to swing a few showers in the area. The “highest” chances will be W of 65 and N of 40, so those in Robertson Co. have relatively higher chances than those in Rutherford.
If we saw anything, it would likely come in the form of a quick shower but can’t totally rule out a rumble of thunder. Any rain would be very welcomed.
