Perhaps Some Showers Sunday Morning, Otherwise Dry
Saturday, October 3, 2026 · Elan
What rain we got yesterday will pretty much be what we get. Everyone saw at least some rain, which is great. It won’t put a major dent in our drought, but it’s something. BNA officially saw 0.68″ – the first measurable rainfall in 36 days.
We stay dry today. Besides these early low clouds providing some mist, that’ll be all. Today will stay overcast, but no rain, the clouds will be all talk.
Sunday morning will be our only other chance to see some rain.
The latest HRRR gives us some, I think it may be overdoing things a tad, but we’ll take any additional rain we can get.
Rain chances will be “highest” to the S, but any chance we do have will dwindle after lunch, with a dry rest of the day.
After any rain we see Sunday morning, that will be it through at least Friday. October is normally our driest month, so not totally surprising.
The good news is that temperatures will cooperate for the most part, with highs near 80° and waking up with temps in the 50s.
