Mid 60s with some mist feels absolutely fantastic after the stretch of incredibly hot weather we’ve had.

For the most part, temperatures will technically be above average this week, but honestly, I’ll take it. Perhaps even creeping back near 90° by the beginning of next week, but it’s not the upper 90s. Glass half full.

Dewpoints will also be wayyy better in the 50s, which will make it feel even more manageable.

Although this mist is nice, it won’t go down as any measurable rainfall.

Depending on exactly where you are, some have seen some rain this month, while others have seen absolutely none.

BNA is the “official” rain gauge where observations and records and kept, and it’s seen only a Trace of rainfall this month, with no measurable rain since August 26th.

It might be a buzzer beater to see if we do get any meaningful rain the rest of this month, with models suggesting rain chances don’t return until the 29th or 30th.

Good news for any outdoor plans this week, bad news for the grass.
