Rain Chances Return Thursday, Temps Stay Hot

Could be better but certainly could be worse kind of weather today.

Highs in the low 90s with dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s. Perhaps a stray shower this afternoon but we’ll likely stay dry.

More of the same for Wednesday, copy + paste from above.

Rain chances increase Thursday as a cold front approaches the area. Scattered showers and storms will be possible starting sometime Thursday afternoon/evening.

For now, models don’t really support a severe threat, but we’ll keep an eye on things.

Low to medium rain chances continue on Friday and into the weekend. No single day looks like a complete washout. In fact, models aren’t too excited about our total rainfall amounts, with generally around 0.5″ over the next week expected.

An early look at the Titans home opener will be hot and probably dry. Highs in the low 90s with perhaps a stray shower/storm in the area. This is still a ways out, so this is only penciled in right now. I’m ready for Cam Ward and the Titans, but I wish it would feel a tad more like football weather.

High temperatures stay fairly consistent in the low to mid 90s over the next week – not exactly football weather but we’ll get there eventually.
