If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Some showers with the occasional rumble of thunder continues to move thru our area as of 2p. These should slowly move out of here, and I’d guess we’d be dry by the time you head out for dinner this evening (if not sooner). Not expecting severe weather today. More updates on this can be found on our socials as the day goes on.

Thursday afternoon and early evening we’ll keep an eye out for any Wattery winners, with rain/storm chances around 30-40%. Any activity should be fairly scattered, but any thunderstorm could contain heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. Also not expecting any severe weather with any of this.

Don’t see a need to cancel any outdoor plans but certainly will want to keep an eye on the radar. If thunder roars – go indoors! You can leave Jolene outside though.


Friday begins our stretch of dry weather that will likely continue into the middle of next week.

With the dry weather, this will allow for high temperatures to creep back up into the mid 90s, with heat index values again approaching 100° by early next weekend. Certainly not unheard of for it to still be this hot this time of year, but it’s about football season – so I feel as if the temperatures should follow suite.
