Tolerable Temps + Humidity Thru Tuesday, Rain Returns Wednesday

Pleasant temperatures + humidity (considering it’s late August) will be around today and Tuesday. High temperatures near 90° with dewpoints in the mid to upper 50s will feel quite refreshing. Great time to get outside and enjoy it.

Our humidity will creep back up by Wednesday, with dewpoints returning to the mid 60s. Along with this, low to medium rain/storm chances will return as well.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the day on Wednesday, continuing into Thursday. Models currently don’t suggest we’ll be dealing with any severe threat, but any storm could contain heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. We’ll be able to dive a bit more into the specifics on timing and such in the coming days. Overall rainfall totals aren’t too impressive, at around half an inch.

The good news is that signs point to us drying out on Friday, with that trend continuing into next weekend.

Bad news, temperatures creep back up into the mid 90s with dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s. Could be worse but certainly could be better.
