On our way to a fairly hot Saturday afternoon, although it could certainly be worse. Highs in the mid 90s, but dewpoints will be in the upper 60s, so not terrible.

Although I still think the majority of us will likely stay dry, there is still a low chance of a shower/storm that popups this afternoon/evening. If we were to see a storm, there’s a very low-end chance it could produce some damaging straight-line winds. The Storm Prediction Center has given us a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles.

Essentially all of the high-res models keep us dry, although as we know, models are guidance – not gospel.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the radar all day and posting updates as needed on all of our socials. Those with outdoor plans should proceed with caution, having an indoor place to go if a storm does decide to get going. When thunder roars – go indoors.

A dry Sunday is in store before low to medium rain/storm chances return Monday, continuing thru the middle of next week. These look like Wattery (water + lottery) variety, just your typical random popups in the afternoon/evening – not much organization with them.

Temperatures continue to stay right around average for late August, with highs in the upper 80s/low 90s. Much better than the upper 90s.
