We finally have no heat-related headlines to discuss today.

Our “cold” front has moved thru, and while it isn’t cold, it will be noticeablely cooler the rest of this week.

High temperatures will mostly be confined to the low 90s, with the exception of Wednesday. Dewpoints will be more tolerable in the mid to upper 60s – compared to the low to mid 70s we’ve been dealing with.

No rain today, which will mark the 7th consecutive day of no measurable rain at BNA, the longest streak since May 12-19.
Rain chances return Wednesday night/Thursday morning, when a weakening cluster of showers/storms moves in from the W. Models are all in good agreement that the storms will weaken, it’ll just be a matter of exactly how much.
The latest Storm Prediction Center outlook includes us within a 5% chance of damaging straight-line winds within 25 miles. We are *not* included in any probabilities for hail or tornadoes.

The latest HRRR model (shown below) shows fairly widespread coverage of showers/non-severe storms during the overnight hours on Wednesday, lingering into Thursday morning. This is just one run of one model, so don’t take it too literally. We’ll watch the trends over the next day and keep y’all posted.

Only low-end Wattery (water + lottery) chances exist Friday afternoon, then a dry weekend with our tolerable temperature + dewpoint combo continuing.
