Summer continues to slap us in the face, reminding us that it’s not Fall yet.
Our weather thru Monday will be a copy + paste.
Our Heat Advisory has been upgraded to an Extreme Heat Warning that continues thru Sunday evening.
Actual air temperatures in the upper 90s, near 100°, paired with dewpoints in the low to mid 70s will send heat index values close to 110°.

For any outdoor activities you may have planned this weekend, please use extra caution against the heat. Heat related illnesses can sneak up on anyone with conditions like this. Staying hydrated and taking frequent breaks indoors are good measures to take. Being in close proximity to a body of water is also a good idea.
Know the signs of heat related illnesses and know what to do if someone else if experiencing those symptoms. Always look before you lock – never leave a child or pet in a vehicle, even if you are just running in “for a minute.”

Very low chances at any wining Wattery (water + lottery) tickets this afternoon, only about 10%. Odds go to basically zero for Saturday and Sunday, with low chances returning by Monday.
Only slightly lower temps on Tuesday before we get right back into the upper 90s by the middle of next week.
Where are you, football weather?
