Happy Friday! Another day of playing the Wattery (water + lottery) while dealing with the summer heat.

Highs get into the mid 90s, with dewpoints in the low to mid 70s. Not a great combo, sending heat index values around 100°.

Probably not too many winning Wattery tickets being handed out today but can’t rule out a few in the afternoon and early evening. It’s worth keeping an eye on the radar if you have any outdoor plans, but I’d remain optimistic. No severe weather expected, but any storm could produce heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds.

Saturday is a different day, more of the same story. Another hot one, with slightly higher rain chances – around 40 – 50%.
