Another day in this Wattery (water + lottery) pattern, feeling the dog days of summer.

Low-end rain/storm chances will yet again be around this afternoon and evening. No severe weather is expected – but as we saw yesterday, any storm could produce some localized flooding issues, along with plenty of lightning and some gusty winds.

We’ll keep an eye on the radar all day (and everyday) and send out updates as needed on all of our socials.

Essentially the same forecast exists for Friday and Saturday, with Wattery chances around 30-40% during the afternoon/evening. Those with outdoor plans should keep an eye on the radar and be ready to quickly pivot indoors in case a storm decides you have a winning Wattery ticket. Same hazards possible, heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds.

Chances come down a bit for Sunday and Monday before creeping right back up by Tuesday, into the middle of next week. No obvious signal for severe weather right now, but we’ll keep an eye on things.

Temperatures stay hot and muggy.

Highs in the mid 90s paired with dewpoints in the low to mid 70s will send heat index values in the 100-105° range. Certainly not unheard of but doesn’t make it any less gross. Continue to take precautions against the heat, especially those that must be outdoors for long periods of time.
