“Coolest” day of the week award goes to today. Highs only in the mid 80s with dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s, not great, not terrible. Likely staying dry, although it’s not impossible we see a quick shower.

Through Thursday, our forecast will be fairly similar. Highs in the low to mid 90s, can’t totally rule out a stray shower in the afternoon, but those should mostly stay confined to the Plateau. Dewpoints remain in the ‘uncomfortable/hairdo ruiner’ category.

Rain chances pick up a tad as we get to Friday/Saturday – with Wattery (water + lottery) type showers/storms possible in the afternoon/evening. This is still a ways away, so things can certainly change, but just something to keep in mind.

The good news is that no hazardous weather is expected over at least the next 7 days. Heat index values may get closer to 100° towards the end of the week, but this isn’t anything too abnormal, considering we are in early August.
