Although it’s still hot today – it won’t be as hot as the past couple of days. Highs in the low 90s, dewpoints are still up in the low 70s, so it’s still pretty muggy. Dry.

Thursday and Friday will be slightly nicer as dewpoints drop back into the 60s, with highs near 90°. No rain chances, so both will be great days to get outside.

Rain and storm chances return Saturday morning as a low-pressure system passes just off to our north, bringing in a cold front that’ll push thru.

Specifics are still unclear with some model disagreements, as expected 4 days out. However, some models are suggesting we could be dealing with the potential for strong to severe storms. While we aren’t currently outlooked with anything, it’ll be something to keep an eye on.

Those with outdoor plans on Saturday should certainly keep an eye on the forecast and be prepared to possibly move plans indoors. Regardless of strength, models think we see between 1-2″ of rain, so rainouts could come into play. We’ll keep y’all posted.

Low rain chances stick around on Sunday and continue thru the beginning of next week. The good news is that we’ll likely stay below 90° during this time as well.
