Quiet Couple of Days, Rain Returns Saturday

A few quick showers will be possible today, especially around WillCo., but these won’t amount to anything.

We finally get a few dry days strung together. Dry Thursday and Friday before rain chances return on Saturday, where some scattered showers/storms look possible. No severe weather expected but can’t rule out a strong storm or two. We’ll keep an eye on things as always. Timing looks iffy, with chances hanging around most of the day. Heads up for those with outdoor plans.

Also, a much-appreciated break from the 90s, as we spend the next couple of days in the 80s. Dewpoints will dip a tad as well, making it feel a tad less muggy outside. We’ll take it.

Temperatures quickly return to the mid 90s by the beginning of next week, with heat index values right back in the 100s.

Also, I haven’t addressed it, since things have been so busy. However, if you’ve heard of Tropical Storm Bertha, it won’t affect us at all.

Certainly will bring some heavy rain, storm surge and gusty winds to areas along the Gulf coast, but no local impacts here in TN.
