Another few days of medium Wattery (water + lottery) chances before we get somewhat of a pattern shift.
Today and Tuesday will be fairly similar, with scattered showers and storms possible, mainly confined to the afternoon and early evening. Activity really winds down as we get closer to sunset.
Here’s the HRRR’s guess on this afternoon and evening.

No severe weather is expected but certainly can’t rule out heavy rain and lightning with any thunderstorm. When thunder roars – go indoors!
Very similar set up for Tuesday as the low-pressure continues to sit just off to our SE, spinning in some afternoon and early evening rain and storm chances. Same hazards as Monday, with no severe weather expected, but heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds possible with any storm.
Chances are fairly low, we’ll have to watch out for any slow-moving or training storms to produce localized flash flooding. Storm motions should be fast enough to avoid this, we’ll keep an eye on it.
Rain chances will still exist daily Wednesday thru this weekend, chances will be much lower at around 10-20%, so I expect most of us will stay dry each day. Of course, can’t totally rule out a stray shower or storm that passes through during the afternoon and early evening. Those with outdoor plans should proceed with caution, keeping one eye on the radar.
While rain chances go down, temperatures will come back up. High temperatures return to the low 90s, with heat index values nearing 100° again by the end of this week.
