Thursday a more summer-like pattern returns. High temps near 90° with popup showers/storms (the ole’ Wattery) possible in the afternoon and evening.

This pattern sticks with us thru Sunday, with highs gradually increasing into the mid 90s. By Saturday, peak heat index values will be near 100°. Showers/storms will be very hit and miss, no day looks like a total washout. Although a quick shower could help cool things off. No severe weather is expected.
