Although it’s not impossible that we see a popup shower/storm this afternoon and evening – it is very unlikely. Latest observations don’t suggest anything much, but we’ll keep an eye on it just in case. But I’d say you can leave the rain gear at home as you head out for any plans the rest of today.
In fact, you can leave the rain gear at home for the rest of the work week. The rest of the week, including the beginning of this weekend, look dry. Good news for those going to any CMA Fest plans or any other outdoor plans that you may have to kickoff summer.
Temperatures stay on the warm side, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Certainly could be worse.

Very low rain chances return Saturday, with chances increasing on Sunday. Specifics are fuzzy this far out, but we’ll keep an eye on how things evolve. No hazardous weather is expected in the foreseeable future.
