A Few More Days of Rain/Storm Chances

We are close to shaking this rainy pattern, but not quite there.

Today will be another day of scattered showers/storms being possible thru the early evening. Lightning will be possible with any storm, so those with outdoor plans should remain weather aware – when thunder roars, go indoors. We have a cool radar you can look at on our website: Radar – Nashville Severe Weather

Similar story on Sunday. Scattered rain/storm chances, mostly from midday thru the early evening. Those with outdoor plans, including those going to the Speedway, should pack some rain gear, along with having an indoor place to ride out a quick storm in.

A tad bit different of a set up exists on Monday.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked both of our counties with a 5% chance of severe weather within 25 miles. Any threats look to be confined to damaging straight-line winds and/or hail, forecast soundings do not suggest any tornado threat.

A broad timeframe looks to be afternoon and evening. Things will change a bit (a lot?) between now and then, we’ll keep y’all updated.

Our pattern finally changes starting Tuesday as drier air arrives, ending our rain chances. We’ll be able to string at least a few dry days together as no rain chances are in the forecast until late next week. Still a bit too early to look into the CMAs too much, day by day.
