Scattered showers/storms have already begun to pop-up over Middle TN and will continue to randomly do so throughout the day. You can always use your favorite radar app, or we have one (for free) on our website: Radar – Nashville Severe Weather
While severe weather isn’t expected, a storm or two could have some gusty winds along with the usual heavy downpours.
It’s possible we see some dense fog develop tonight thanks to winds relaxing. For those out and about late tonight or early Thursday morning, plan to take it a bit slower on your drive.
Our pattern sticks around thru Saturday, with daily chances of a shower/storm anytime from roughly midday thru early evening. Thankfully, no severe weather is expected. Rainfall totals will vary a good bit, depending on if you get caught underneath a storm or not. Generally speaking, around 0.5 – 1″ can be expected over the next three days.

Those with outdoor plans, including those attending the festivities at the Speedway, should proceed with caution. Nothing looks to be a washout, but when thunder roars, have a place to go wait things out inside.
Our pattern finally looks to turn the page starting Sunday, when drier air filters into the region. Rain chances will still exist but will be much lower. We should finally start to string some dry days together starting early next week. Although we did need the rain, I also think we now need a break.
Temperatures remain right around average for this time of year.
