Here’s to a tornado-free year with a couple of decent snows.

New Year’s Day will be a good start to the year – dry with highs in the upper 50s.
Friday we’ll get a quick shot of rain during the afternoon/evening. Just some light showers, an umbrella or rain jacket will suffice as you head out for any plans. HRRR model gives a guess below:

Rest of the weekend will be cool and dry. Temps begin to warm back up starting early next week.

New Drought Monitor came out yesterday and shows [basically] all of our two counties under the Abnormally Dry category. Technically not drought, but we could use some rain here sooner rather than later.
