This looks absolutely nothing like what we dealt with last week. However, it still is worth keeping an eye on.
The Storm Prediction Center has slightly upped our chances for severe weather on Thursday, particularly for the afternoon and evening.

We have the following probs of ‘x’ within 25 miles:
- 15% chance of severe hail (1″+)
- 5-15% chance of damaging straight-line winds (58mph+)
- We are not included in any tornado probabilities
Simply put, the main threat here is hail and gusty winds. We are not worried about the tornado threat today due to extremely weak shear.
Timing:
Models are still in agreement that severe weather is “most” likely during the afternoon and evening.

The probability of you seeing a severe storm is relatively low. You may not even see a thunderstorm.
We’ll have an eye on things and will be sending out updates on our socials as needed.
After that, we have beautiful weekend weather. No rain, comfortable temperatures (besides a few chilly mornings). Good weather for any outdoor plans.
