Frost/Freeze Likely Tonight and Tuesday Night, Rain Chances Return Thursday

From 80s just a couple of days ago, we are looking at two straight nights of temperatures getting close to, if not below freezing

Official lows for Nashville for tonight and Tuesday night are 33° and 34°, respectively. Although downtown is usually a few degrees warmer than everywhere else, so most of us likely will see a freeze. Cover up/bring in any plants.

Note: You won’t see any frost/freeze products issued from NWS Nashville, those aren’t used until May 1st.

Tuesday will be the coolest day of the week, with highs only getting into the mid 50s. Rest of the week bounces between low 60s and low 70s.

Only rain chance this week will be on Thursday.

Although rain will be possible all day, it’s most likely during the afternoon/evening.

No severe weather expected but wouldn’t be surprised if we heard a few rumbles of thunder.

Rainfall totals up to 0.25″ possible – but won’t take much to rain out any ball fields thanks to all the recent rains.

Which speaking of – rainfall totals from the past week have added up – highest totals for our two counties have been in western WillCo. and northern Davidson.

Upcoming weekend looks dry and fairly warm.
