Before we get into this weekend, we do have a warm and mostly dry work week in front of us.

High temps will be well above average all week long, in the 70s until Sunday.
First rain chances this week will be on Thursday. Although rain chances have increased since yesterday, totals still look relatively low.
Euro model (below) thinks we could see a few scattered showers, maybe a thunderstorm or two during the afternoon/evening – but no severe weather expected.

Onto this weekend.
We are still looking at the possibility of heavy rain and strong to severe storms Friday and/or Saturday, but a lot of uncertainty still exists.
Models have been going back and forth on the small-scale details such as moisture and instability – and all over the place on timing.

For now, the biggest take aways should be:
- Rain is likely Friday – Saturday
- Confidence on the severity of storms is low
- Rainfall totals of 1-3″ will be possible
The Storm Prediction Center’s outlooks will likely change many times between now and Friday. For now, just keep an eye out for updates as confidence will increase throughout the week. Shield your eyes from any crazy posts on social media.
Winds will also be gusty ahead of any rain/storms Friday and Saturday.
We’ll keep y’all posted, embrace the uncertainty!
