Enjoying the Warm Week While Keeping an Eye on Next Weekend

Really nice Spring-like work week lies ahead of us.

Highs quickly climbing into the mid 70s by Tuesday, staying close to that for the rest of the week.

Doesn’t look like we’ll have any record-breaking heat, but highs will be ~15° above average.

No rain chances until Thursday, and those chances look relatively low right now. The GFS and Euro are both in decent agreement we won’t see much rain. Maybe a rumble of thunder, but no severe weather is expected with this.

While rain is more likely Friday/Saturday, any confidence on severe weather potential is low at this time.

The Storm Prediction Center has portions of both of our counties outlooked for severe weather potential Friday and Saturday. We are still quite a way out from this, and both these maps will likely change.

Lots of uncertainty exists with specifics on timing, and ingredients for severe weather such as moisture and instability.

Confidence on these uncertainties will likely increase as we get closer to next weekend. For now, no reason to panic or sound the alarms. Just something to keep an eye on while we enjoy our Spring-like weather this week.
