With temperatures above freezing and the sun out, some melting is ongoing today. Good news for the roads, bad news for local snowmen.
Any moisture left on the roads tonight might freeze with temperatures getting down into the low 20s.
Black ice will be possible Sunday morning – especially on bridges and overpasses. Take it easy on the roads in the AM.
A lot more melting to happen on Sunday with highs getting into the low 40s.
Again, any moisture leftover Sunday night will likely re-freeze with temps getting back down into the low 20s – how much moisture will be leftover is the question.
Quiet and cold week ahead. Several nights getting down into the teens. Next chance of precipitation is next weekend – type of precipitation is TBD, right now leaning towards rain.
