Couple More Rain Chances Before Cold Air Returns (At Least For A Little)

Some rain currently moving thru the area and will continue to do so throughout the evening at various intensity. No severe weather expected but can’t rule out a rumble of thunder or two. You can check the radar anytime on our website here: Radar | Nashville Severe Weather

Scattered showers return Tuesday evening with a steadier, consistent rain for the first half of Wednesday.

This is just one run of the HRRR model, radar won’t look exactly like this from Tuesday evening – Wednesday midday, but prob a decent guess.

  • No severe weather expected, but wouldn’t be surprised if you hear a few rumbles of thunder
  • Wednesday AM commute looks wet
  • About an inch or so of rain expected
  • Rain should end sometime Wednesday afternoon

While dry weather is expected Thursday thru the end of the week, much cooler temperatures will hang around.

A way too early guess at Christmas is warm[er than normal] and maybe some rain. I have a little confidence in the warmer than normal part, but very little to no confidence in the rain part. Forecasts this far out are a shot in the dark.
