travel impactS Not expected (gratuitOus W)

Behold below! Another sourced forecast from available model data + NWS-Nashville guidance. Delivered with fear and trembling.

  • Nature will not be mocked by my assurance.
  • Read with collective humility.
  • Abandon preparation and vigilance only after we conquer the future.
  • We have not conquered the Middle Tennessee snowglobe future.

EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING (AS IN, TOMORROW)

Snow, brief and inconsequential.

HRRR model has the ETA 4-5 AM.

Duration 30-45 minutes.

  • Falling flakes to encounter 33° to 34° air temps just above the ground. The ground itself will be warmer than that.
  • Snow bands appear light to very light. Meh.
  • Dry Air Monster will be a little hungry, consuming flakes as they fall (evaporative cooling!).
  • Temps will rise through the morning. More meh.

Result: splat, melt for most, if not all. I suppose those atop hills, mailboxes, and grassy areas may gather cloud dandruff. Travel impacts not expected.

WEDNESDAY LATE AFTERNOON – EARLY EVENING

Rain-Snow mix may pass over in a few scattered cells.

No travel impacts expected.

THE WEEKEND

Rain likely.

ETA Saturday late afternoon/evening. Rain could begin earlier Saturday and/or linger into Saturday night.

Sunday’s Titans game looks uneventful wxwise for now. Stay connected. Forecast timing may change.

TEMPS

Cold mornings ahead.
