Rain Departing By Thanksgiving Morning, Several Hard Freezes This Weekend

Showers will continue to move across the area thru the overnight hours, just some showers, although a few could be on the heavier side. No severe or winter weather concerns. HRRR model gives its best guess below.

Good news for all your Turkey Trotters (props to y’all, I’ll already be eating), the rain should clear out by the early morning hours, leaving us with a dry Thanksgiving.

Although it’ll be dry for Turkey frying, backyard football, it’ll be cool as highs will only make it up into the upper 40s. Which compared to the rest of the week, upper 40s might sound nice.

We’ll likely see our first freeze of the season Thursday night/Friday morning, but if not then – we will certainly see it this weekend as lows in the teens/low 20s are expected. Freeze proof your home (whatever that means depending on the house) before departing for the weekend.
