The busiest travel day of the year (Wednesday) will be dry until the evening, when some light showers move thru. HRRR model shown below loops from Wednesday evening – Thanksgiving morning.
The HRRR, and most other models have come to the conclusion that besides maybe a few quick showers during the morning, Thanksgiving Day looks dry. Good news for all the Turkey Trots, backyard football and turkey frying.
Friday the cold airmass arrives. Highs only in the low 40s and lows well below freezing for the weekend. No matter what color you wear for a football game on Saturday, several layers of it will be needed.
And yes, there is a 10-30% chance of a dusting Saturday evening, as a quick system moves thru the area. So while unlikely, maybe we get lucky and see a few flakes. Changes likely between now and then, we’ll keep ya posted.
