Nice Weather For HS Playoffs & Weekend Plans

The cloud cover was stubborn today, keeping temps fairly cool, but at least we are dry.

We are in store for some great HS playoff football weather tonight. Temperatures near 50° for kickoff, getting into the upper 40s by the 4th quarter. For players, this is nice. For those in the stands, a jacket will be your friend.

Dry weather will persist over the weekend. The sun will finally return on Saturday, allowing for high temps to get into the mid 60s. Just some really great Fall weather.

More of the same for Sunday, with highs near 70°. Good weather to watch the Titans.

Monday looks like our last warm AND dry day, as rain chances return Tuesday. Doesn’t look like a big rain-maker for us, current indications look like around 0.5″ of rain possible (although this could change). For now, no severe weather concerns, probably not looking at any thunderstorm chances either.

Models still thinking cooler (cold?) air filters in by the end of next week. Do we see our first freeze of the year? Local bugs say no, I say IDK.
