A Break From The Rain This Afternoon Before Steadier, Heavier Rain Tonight

Most, if not all, of us have seen some showers today. While the majority of it has moved off to the north, we expect another round of more consistent heavy rain after dark tonight.

Right now, the ETA for the heavier rain looks ~ 8pm, give or take an hour or so. Model data could be wrong!

Rain will taper off in the wee hours of Thursday morning, with maybe a shower or two for rush hour Thursday AM.

Thankfully, no severe storm worries. Good sleeping rain, with rainfall totals in the 1 to 2 inch range expected. No flooding worries, just a good soak – which we could use.

Rest of the week looks nice and quiet. Temperatures will be cooperative for any outdoor weekend activities.

Next rain chances maybe early next week, too soon to tell tho. End of next week looks like we could be in for some cold air, but again, too soon to know fo sho.
